Allergens Present in Our Shop

Our products may contain the following allergens:

  • Nuts and nut-derived ingredients
  • Eggs and egg by-products
  • Milk and dairy products
  • FD&C Yellow #5
  • Wheat

Deposits

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required for all orders. This must be paid at least one week before your event date or at the time of ordering.

As a small bakery, we can only accept a limited number of orders per weekend. If you cancel an order, all payments made are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Cancellations or changes must be made at least 7 days before your scheduled pickup date. If canceled within this window, we can apply any payments made as a credit toward a future order, redeemable within 3 months.

Refunds & Exchanges

Because our products are handcrafted and custom-made, we do not offer refunds or exchanges on custom orders.

Once you or your designated representative picks up and signs for your order, it is considered accepted. At pickup, we will confirm all details such as spelling, design, and color. Refund requests for style, color, or design preferences after acceptance will not be honored. In some cases, we can make design adjustments after pickup for an additional fee.

After your order leaves our shop, it becomes your responsibility. We are not liable for any damage during transport, setup, or thereafter. We provide care and transport instructions at pickup. Cakes are delicate and may be damaged if mishandled (e.g., cracks, smudges, melting). Refunds will only be issued according to the policies outlined here.

Flavor & Texture Concerns: Taste and texture are subjective. Full refunds will not be granted once a cake has been accepted. In rare cases, a partial store credit may be offered if:

  • The cake is returned within 24 hours of pickup (the sooner, the better)
  • A significant portion remains uneaten
  • We determine the quality does not meet our standards

Quality determinations are at JoJo’s Lunchbox sole discretion. Store credits will not be issued for cakes returned more than 48 hours after pickup or for cakes that have been entirely consumed.

The only instance where we will issue a refund:
If you pick up (or receive delivery of) a cake and it does not meet your expectations, you may refuse to accept it. In this case, we will issue a store credit refund minus a 25% handling/cancellation fee.

  • Refunds are store credit only; no cash refunds.
  • You cannot keep the cake if you accept a refund.
  • No partial refunds will be issued if you keep the cake.

Refunds must be requested within 7 days. No exceptions.

Cancellations & Changes

For retail orders, changes or cancellations must be made at least 7 days before pickup.

  • No changes can be made after this deadline.
  • Payments made are non-refundable, but if canceled within this window, they may be applied toward a future order within 3 months.
  • Cancellations with less than 7 days’ notice require full payment.
  • These terms do not apply to orders covered by separate contracts.

Guarantee & Disclaimer

We strive to decorate your order exactly as specified on your written order form. If any detail does not match, we will correct it promptly. Additional changes requested at pickup that were not on the original order will incur an extra charge.

Each order is individually handmade, and decorative finishes are subject to the artistic style of our decorators. While we welcome inspiration photos, we cannot guarantee exact replication of another decorator’s work.
